Fourth Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser
Join us for an evening of gourmet soups prepared by local chefs including Chef Jenna Pillon and Chef Rod Butters of Terrafina at Hester Creek by RauDZ. We are creating our version of a heartwarming and cure-all Chicken Noodle Soup.
Proceeds support Desert Sun Counselling & Resource Centre. Also featured — Artisian Breads as well as regional beer, wine and cider.
After the event, please bring your Osoyoos Potters handcrafted soup bowl home as a reminder of the empty bowls in our community.
Garlic Festival – Saturday, September 29 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Join us at the 4th Annual Garlic Festival at Hester Creek Estate Winery. This festival supports the Oliver Elementary school farm to table lunch program.
This program feeds the school a local, healthy lunch twice a week for the majority of the year. Guests to the festival are asked for a donation to go to the festival. In the 3rd year$2300 collected. The first year saw about 1500 guests and last year they had over 2000, expecting even more this year.
There will be food carts and local artisans including local bread, gelato, jams and jellies. As for garlic there will be lots of that! Generally, about half of the vendors focus on garlic and local fresh bulbs harvested that morning!
The wine shop, of course, is open all day and will be very busy with tastings and food and wine pairings with a focus on garlic. The patio will also have live music by Brent Tyler and Joshua Smith for guests.
Hester Creek Estate Winery is celebrating 50 years in 2018. The summer is full of celebration of this milestone achievement and the Revival Weekend planned for August 24 – 26 brings food, wine and family all together.

Garland Brunch at Terrafina
The experience begins with a wine reception at Hester Creek followed by a wine-paired brunch with Chefs Rod Butters and Jenna Pillon

Okanagan Feast of Fields is the annual fundraiser for FarmFolk CityFolk. This year will be the 10th Anniversary and we are proud to say that restaurants from RauDZ Creative Concepts Ltd. have participated EVERY year.
This year the event is Sunday, August 12 at Father Pandosy Mission in Kelowna. Described as a wandering gourmet harvest festival, Feast of Fields highlights the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table and between farm folks and city folks. With a wine glass and linen napkin in hand, guests stroll across the outdoor venue travelling from tent to tent tasting gourmet creations from the top Okanagan chefs, farmers, food artisans, wineries, breweries and cideries.
Terrafina at Hester Creek by RauDZ will be there along with our other restaurants, Sunny’s Modern Diner, RauDZ Regional Table and micro bar & bites.
Funds raised from this event support FarmFolk CityFolk’s work to cultivate local, sustainable food systems across BC.
We are honoured to be part of the cooking classes offered by Hester Creek Estate Winery. Throughout the season they offer the rare experience of interacting with chefs in an intimate setting. You are one of only 14 guests seated at the granite island in the state of the winery’s art demonstration kitchen. Watch as the chef prepares each course before you and shares little known culinary secrets. These evenings as not so much a hands-on experience but more of an interactive evening with the chef.
